Still a Dream....

Thu Jan 21, 2010 2:48 pm

Ever since I have followed the Bluebirds I have dreamed of our club playing in the highest division ,which now is the premiership .I like many others 'LOVE' this club and hope and pray that one day we will grace that top division where we belong .Surely the players that put on the blue shirt every week have those same dreams !
The FA CUP 2008 was a dream that was fullfilled ,no sleep for weeks before the big day ,driving the wife crazy with every thought towards that day .Now I am worried about the survival of our club ,its these thoughts that keep me awake .This great club can never again fall into the depths of near non -league football .Therefore my message to all staff ,from players to Mr Ridsdale -This Club means everything to the supporters ,its become a way of life ,friendships gained ,'tears shed ,drinks drank over famous victories and much more .It represents our way of life ,a constant shinning light in life's problems .............KEEP THE FAITH and KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE .....

We will get there!!! I know we will! If you were there in May 2008 when we walked out onto the Wembley turf... you look me in the eyes (hypothetically) and you tell me you don't believe we can still do this! :ayatollah:

I never believed I'd see my team play at Wembley.

I never believed I'd see the legendary Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink score one of the best goals I've ever seen for Cardiff City (v Wolves in the 5th round), let alone playing for us.

Both have happened.

Anything's possible.

I'll be there with my little pick and shovel regardless.

Ridsdale Out. :ayatollah:
