104 BOARD MEETINGS

Thu Jan 21, 2010 3:55 pm

Assuming that the Club has a Board Meeting every fortnight. If it's monthly, it's still 52.

That's the number of opportunities the fellow Directors/shareholders have had to scrutinise Ridsdale's handling of the Club and the finances, since Ridsdale took charge.

He could have been removed from that position at any one of those meetings.

We are told the Club is on the verge of a winding-up order. PR has wasted £millions. He has alienated fans. He has lied practically every month for the past 4 years. He has cocked up, over-staffed, over-paid, exceeded fixed price contracts by millions, and so on, and so on.

What have all the others done ?

Nothing. Nothing at all. Even as I write this, not a whisper, not one word. Just a 'please behave' from Borley.

If the Club goes down, I hope they ALL go down with it.

Borley's in a minority of one. The other Board members, Whitely, Harris, Flitcroft were all appointed by Ridsdale no doubt with the promise that they'd make plenty of money when the club is sold. Since Hall stood down not even PMG are represented on the Board. In those circumstances, it's hardly a surprise that PR is still there is it?

Reading between the lines it looks like Guy and Borley are finally trying to force Ridsdale out but it's hard to imagine the current Board voting him out.

Exactly, pretty much why we need an EMG.
