Can someone PLEASE explain...

... what exaclty is PR's position of strength?

There is lots of talk here about how he is the major problem and is potentially getting in the way of investment/takeover. What I can't understand is if this is true how and why is he still in a job. I know he is a shareholder but he is also an employee, he does not own the club so why can't the other board member tell him to pack his bags. All the speculation seems to point to them wanting to so why don't they.

Sorry if I've missed this somewhere else but it's been a long day and I just don't get it.

- He's a major shareholer
- No-one else seems to want to be chairman
- it will cost a fortune to pay him off
- He 'appears' to have the support of the major shareholders (although there are some pointers on here which allude to that situation changing)
