I love it if it was no Negitive feelings around our Club at this moment in time but we all know this is not the case. For someone who didnt know and read tonights Echo they will think fair play Cardiff are a club who has no problems and are still going strong in the cup, it must all be happy down there with they new stadium etc etc.... But that`s mainly people from within the club surely?
The problem with the press is that they can only attend press conferences if they have an official invite (through their editors)from the club.
So if they print anything too critical of the club (even if entirely true) , they suddenly get their invite withdrawn.
I seem to recall that it happened when Robbin` Fowler`s fitness and effort levels were being criticised by David Giles and others and I believe it has recently happened to Mario Risoli of the News of the World.
Nice policy - anyone not toeing the club`s party line gets silenced by being banned.

I think local 'jurnos' have to walk a fine line sometimes. I don't doubt Terry Phillips knows just as much as Annis et al, and probably a fair bit more. The trouble is, they need the good will of the club to have access to players for interviews etc. Also, whilst it's fine fur a small minority of us to criticise on here [and there], if the local paper does the same, it creates a terrible negative impression across the region. In truth, I think fans and club alike are well -served by the Echo.
