This firefox thing

Just started using it dont think i will be using it for long i cant get used to it.

if anyone got any tips please post them this way

much better than i;e with fire fox you can take pictures off and put them straight on here, you cant do that with i.e also the tabbed browsing is much better.

I agree, stick with it..

privacy option remembers your passwords, and if you forget them you can bring up the list of sites and passwords.

when i was on IE i used to start it up and aol would come up as a homepage, With this 1 i dont get anything how do i change that ??

search for google or whatever you want as your homepage when it comes up set it as homepage.

Converted myself now, once you get used to it's fine ,, saving webpages when you quit is a handy feature as well.

Easy to set to delete browsing history when you log off too, handy if you visit certain sites..(taps nose)..

Go to 'Tools'>'Options' and under the 'Main' tab there is a field for homepage.

You can either put in a single homepage or as many as you want, separated by the pipe (|) symbol. This will open up each homepage in a new tab.

I.e. if you set your homepage as:

http://www.aol.co.uk/|http://www.annisabraham.co.uk/mb/

when you start Firefox it will load 2 tabs. 1 with AOL and 1 with AAMB.

- NO! IE slow and crap! firefox is rapid pal..... better video streaming, better overall browsing and more add ons available!

another TIP: when your on a web page you visit regular (like this one) you can drag it from the tab - and onto the address bar. for quick access at any time, no need to go into bookmarks or type in web addresses !

Google chrome is also better than IE - but not as good as Firefox.....

You just reminded me about a cool bookmarks feature. If you right click on a bookmark and select properties, there is a keyword field. Type in something short and memorable for that site i.e. type AAMB for this site and click save. Then, when you want to go to this site, type aamb in the address bar (no http:// or www., just aamb), press enter and it will load. Cracking feature for regularly visited web pages.
