I can't find out much about him but its good to see there is positive interest in the club...the more bidders the better. My only fear at the moment is that he could take over and there may be no real change...We do need to keep our eye on the ball though. The last thing we need is "meet the new boss, same as the old boss."

On the other hand we know little about him and he has had little chance to put his side across so it is wrong to make assumptions at thgis early stage.

I dont want to put a dampner on this, but I am not sure about him either, I dont believe he will buy us totally out, part of PR spin, ONLY MY OPINION.

This so called takeover is not really making any sense

he seems a decent bloke and looks like he's a business man who wouldnt ignore unpaid tax bills but does he have the financial clout to take CCFC forward ??

Regardless of who takes over without any new players coming in then its going to be very difficult to convince the fans the takeover was worth it.

It'll be worth it depending who takes over.

Sure, people can clamour all they like for new players - at what expense though? People seem to want new owners to continually pump money in to football clubs.

If whoever takes over ( hopefully Malaysians ) steadies the ship financially, securing the club long term, I'll be very happy. That's much more important than getting new players in, a short termist solution, which has led to a lot of our mess.

Very sensible but do most think that way? I would say most of us will feel deceived if after stumping up our money we dont see any new players in regardless of what happens. The discontent will get alot worse as the season goes along and we start slipping away from the play offs. Then we will start seeing people turn against the new owners.

If we stay in the play off without new players then that will obviously damped the anger. I cannot see that happening though if this was the case, no new players, its not going to be pleasant.

A businessman yes but what experience does he have of running a football club or similar sized business? Is experience of that needed? I'm not sure myself and am willing to give him time to prove himself should the investment happen. I just hope he learns from the whole PR spin issue and is 100% honest with the fans

We need to be sensible.

We've been sold the dream for far, far too long - chasing that has led us to be in the financial shit.

Teams like Burnley have gone up without spending over the odds on wages, managing their finances. If people want Prem football NOW at the expense of having a club long term, sorry, not fans in my book. Because they have their best interests at heart, not those of the club.

Only partly true Dave.

They gambled during the season by not selling off players in the January transfer window (I think it was a deliberate decision rather than no-one wanted their players)to make a profit to cover their "normal" losses.

But nearly all their wage bill increase of about £4m was only incurred , by way of promotion bonuses , AFTER they knew they had got to the Premiership (their financial year end is 30 June). So that bit wasn`t a gamble as they could already count on the extra money coming in this current season to cover the extra costs.
