Ridsdale and the club are bastards for paying, I've just been told by a someone who contracts for them. They offer things like free tickets and other things in lieu of payment.

I wonder if he stayed in their "Executive Master Suite" which - according to their website - is £540 per night per person!

I can understand Ridsdale paying a few thousand if they were about to "seal the deal" - i.e. if due dilligence was complete and he was coming down to sign on the dotted lines - however he only just got here and certainly hasn't completed due dilligence!

Ridsdale is desperate, thats why he's giving possible suitors the 5 star treatment. Thats why he courted the posiibility of Antonio Garcia. He needs money now!!

Yeah, that's fair enough, Annis. But not being familiar with the way these things work I was just under the impression that Ridsdale may have thought it was more likely to seal the deal a bit sooner but looks like Ridsdale was taken for a ride
