A forum for all things Cardiff City
Wed Jan 27, 2010 1:20 pm
The Cardiff City supporters Trust have an open meeting on Monday February 1st at 7.30...it will be held in the Duke of Clarence, Clive road, Canton, Cardiff.
The Trust have called for the club to call an EGM they have said that an EGM is likely to happen withing 6-8 weeks...we have a TRust board meeting Tomorrow night to decide whether to accept this or push on to try to get this meeting arranged sooner.
Either way on Monday our meeting will be specifically focused on the resolution we intend putting to the Cardiff City board, you can help with this and your input would be very welcome.
WE will also discuss relevent questions shareholders can ask at the EGM.
THE TRUST IS ONLY AS STRONG AS ITS MEMBERSHIP, AS INDIVIDUALS WE CAN NOT DO MUCH BUT TOGETHER WE CAN AT LEAST GET OUR VOICES HEARD.

paul, this is not a dig at you or the trust, but riddler will/is laughing at the trust, he doesn't car what they demand or got to say, hence why they've fobbed the trust off
lets become cardiff fans again and drive the loon out!

I know Ben, but this is just one way of doing things, when I was younger I would be more like you are mate. Any actions that help sort this mess out are fine by me...I try the political route, others want to try other ways...I support all types of action...during the 90 minutes we need to get behind the players but I can fully understand your point of view.

I can assure you when the trust came out and said they were calling for an emergency agm , ridsdale was very concerned
there are shareholders amongst the trust membership , and the trust also have a shareholding
with respect ben, they HAVE to take notice
how have the club fobbed off the trust ?
wheras with us all jumping up and down on all the messageboards ?
where has that got us ?

given the latest news 6-8 weeks could be too late
Wed Jan 27, 2010 10:31 pm
well if we are to face administration then I would have thought thats an even better argument for joining up
because if we DO face tough times again in the future after the mess has been cleared up, there will be no excuses for fans to say " we didnt know what was going on "
the more members the trust has to represent the fans, the better

I agree.
I will be there to join and support the trust because this Ridsdale is a REAL danger.

I have to reiterate what hs been said above.
The club will cease to exist if the high court winds the club up if the HMRC debt is not paid by the agreed date.
There will be no AGM or EGM because there will be no Cardiff City Football Club anymore.
Forget administration.
The grim reaper is just days away.

Think positive, if Peter Ridsdale goes investment will come into the club...I firmly believe this will happen

You need to ask the Club if we can hold it in the stadium as the D of C is now nowhere near big enough.
