It worked well plus we got Burkey on the bench too to give Ross or Whitts cover plus Ethuhu when he's back from injury , maybe all we need now for a full house is a player to cover Jay and Feeney and another to fill in for Ledley ? Mc Phail to come back too plus Blake and Wildig have put some decent shifts in :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Yeah i agree with you mate. I think we do need someone to cover jay and ledely but its not looking likley at all

But like u said blake was awesome against LCFC and widlig was good against BCFC in the first leg. if we keep all the players fit and from illness we mite just get away with it after all :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I loved Blake in the middle of the park. Ok, so he's not the most technically gifted player we have but he's got the bite, the grit and the determination that we've lacked since Scimeca in his pomp with us.

As of today I would start this team on Saturday...

GK: Marshall
DL: McNaughton (if fit, if not then Kennedy)
DR: Matthews
DC: Gerrard
DC: Gyepes
ML: McCormack
MR: Burke
MC: Blake
MC: Whittingham (maybe swap with McCormack if it's not working)
FC: Bothroyd
FC: Chopra

I think McCormack needs to play but so does Whittingham and Burke. Spoilt for choice!

Isnt Gerrard out for 1 match ban now ? Otherwise agree with u there but Id have Rae start in midfield with either Burke or Mc Cormack on the bench .

In that case, make the obvious swap from Gerrard to Hudson. Which would be a shame because Gerrard and Gyepes could form a decent partnership. I wouldn't put Rae in. He's not been worthy of a first team place since April last year in my eyes.
