Dave Jones has called for calm.

He called all the players in this week and asked for them to unite and get behind him and stop the in fighting.
My friend works at the vale of glam. Most players have lost total respect for him.

To be honest the players need to shape up. No use moaning about who is in charge. They're paid to play for this club. Whether they like it or not, they have a job to do. Most of us don't like our bosses but it doesn't mean we stop doing our job. They need to grow up and start realise they're playing for Cardiff, not for Dave Jones.

I detest my boss and,in the past couple of days, we have had a couple of furious bust ups. I get on with my job because I am in the paid employment of my company, not my boss. I do not look to slack off, undermine my boss and hope I get a new one courtesy of a P45 for the old boss

I sort of agree with you as they are over paid gutless/passionless players, but they have been bought by DJ and he should take control of them.

It does raise the interesting question, how do players that are so adamant against playing for a manager... display nowhere near as much passion in the opposite end of the scale when playing for the club? I don't get how they can be so opinionated and passionate about one topic but then not seem to care about another.

You would have thought if they cared enough about who they play under, that they'd care more about what they're playing for!

They know that they can just keep putting in a lot of under par performances and get away with it.

If they play badly as a team, the manager gets sacked. They can also say that they are unhappy, slap in a transfer request and any manager coming in wil look at how they did before the spat they had with the manager when they played badly. The new manager won't care because he's seen what he has done in years gone by. It's served Jay Bothroyd very well in his career to date

I am stunned how bad they can play and show no passion, I would give the world to just play in Division 4 .

The alterior motive for you buying Merthyr Tydfil FC is now coming to light! Takeover a club with potential, put some money in, get them up the leagues and then when they're in league footbal, field yourself. That's cunning Annis, I'll give you that one! :)

I find that hard to believe, we have had one very bad result and 2 that could have gone our way, hardly a crisis. Also all those players are DJ's, so they should be grateful to him and be playing their hearts out for their manager, not moaning. It plain to see that whats missing is quality back up, so when players lose form, others can come in. DJ has never had that since coming to the club, until he gets that, I will not judge him that harshly.

I agree they should be grateful to him, but something is wrong just look at the end of last season.
