Brinkmanship

Wed Jan 27, 2010 10:27 pm

This is just a game of financial dare to most of our board, I believe Borley to be the exception.

Fairly soon it seems PR's position will be untenable, however it until it actually happens I remain very nervous indeed.

Hopefully the end game is in sight.

I would not be at all surprised if PR does not attend on Saturday and if he does it would not surprise me for him to get a smack in the chops. Not that I or any other member of this board would condone such a thing.

Hell of a risky game to play mind you.

stooping to phsical assault will be a very sad day indeed.

We need to keep level headed. Back the team. in fact during half time we should just sing for the duration as a show of support. How about a 15 minute "barmy army". Then at the final whistle let Ridsdale know in no uncertain terms what we think.

I'm not suggesting we do resort to physical acts, however I would not be surprised if it happened. Like the bandit said this is a hell of a risky game.

What the board don't seem to grasp is, that it might be their club legally, but morally and spiritually it will always be our club :ayatollah:
