absolutley devestated

Thu Jan 28, 2010 2:58 pm

i am absolutley devestated by this afternoons turn of events i can only apologise on my behalf and i know annis and carl feel the same way.

we were all certain that the chairman was going to be removed today and we were wrong.
Yesterdays statement was bad enough but the press conference has just rubbed our noses in it.
where we go from here as a club i dont know because i am 100% certain that while the chairman remains we have little or no chance of investment.

One thing i think is certain is that todays events will only galvanise supporters feelings against the chairman and i can only hope our concerted and united efforts will quickly remove this vermin from our club.

on a lighter note my arse will be available for everyone to kick ouside the club shop from 2.30 saturday

the answer is i honestly dont know im gobsmacked and angry about the whole episode.
why was a press conference called today ?
he has only repeated what was in the statement yesterday and made people even angrier than they were yesterday.
i dont believe there will ever be a better opportunity than today to have removed him.
i honestly feel like he's laughing in our faces after going from a substantial amount of tax has been paid in november to then telling us it will be paid by 23rd december and now after taking peoples season ticket money his f*cking lordship will let us know on feb 10th if we have paid it to avoid being wound up

Just who did Ridsdale offer his resignation to? Guy isn't on the board so it couldn't have been him and from what we are told Keith Harris is sort of PR's boss so presumably would have been to him his best mate.

What I would say is Ridsdale should offer his resignation at the EGM and a vote taken on it's acceptance. As it's a public meeting we would get a definate idea of who is backing who.
