Steve Borley could calm the situation

Thu Jan 28, 2010 5:06 pm

if he goes public and explains to us all

1. Did he back Risdale
2. Is he happy for Risdale to stay as Chairman
3. Is there really a strong possibility of Malaysian Investement.
4. Will the tax bill pe paid in time
5. Is there any chance of Loan players in February.
6. If worse case scenario are we facing administration and what sort of timescale.

I HEARD STEVE BORLEY TELLING ANNIS 3 WEEKS AGO THAT PETER RIDSDALE HAS NEVER OFFERED HIS RESIGNATION BECAUSE IF HE HAD WE WOULD HAVE BITTEN HIS HAND OFF.

WELL WELL WELL STEVE

We still don't know that he offered his resignation though do we?

I wish Ridsdale had resigned today, but what would we do now if he had gone? It seems that these malaysians aren't ready to take over the club, as if they were it would be easy enough to get rid of Ridsdale if that's what they wanted.

If Ridsdale left today what would we do with regards to the running of the club? Who would take over as chairman? Borley probably doesn't have the time, or the desire to do. I'm not sure about the other board members either, who seem to be Ridsdales pals.

In an ideal situation we need investment/takeoever and for Ridsdale to go, but we would be in no better position really if Ridsdale was to go in my opinion until additional investment comes in. We wouldn't have any extra funds, and nothing else would change would it?

I 100% want Ridsdale to go, but I don't see what difference it would make to the club in the short term - as the rest of the board would probably stay the same, as would the shareholders. We wouldn't have any extra money, and the debts would still be as they were! Maybe there is investment in the pipeline on the condition that Ridsdale leaves, but if that was the case I would have thought the rest of the board would be in agreement with us that Ridsdale has to go
