despite representations to the football club from the supporters club, yet again it saddens me to read that the fans who travel away reguarly have been overlooked for the plumb tie against Chelsea.
The club have announced on their web site that all ambassadors are entitled to a ticket to the forthcoming tie on a first come first serve basis.
This is totally unacceptable really don't care about any counter arguments some loyal supporters will now miss out for the jonny come latelys as per the Swansea game.
It would have been no skin off their nose to put a restiction on the tickets for a couple of days to reward loyalty, nearly every club in the country reward loyalty at plumb fixtures apart from our club.
I apologise that my effort to ensure all the regular travellers get a cup ticket may be in doubt, the club have not had the decency to respond to my email saying why they declined my request.

Sadly this club has never given a toss about the fans Vince, When the crowds start dropping they`ll only have themselves to blame..

Priority should be to people who have supported our cup run at the CCS and away , not loyal away supporters im not with you on that - amount of cup games should be taken into account

I was not one of the fans who ventured out on that snowy night to Bristol but in my opinion they should all be given tickets free of charge by our club never mind getting first dibs. This is just another case of the club treating its fans with contempt.

Always knew this would happen.
The one a season brigade win again.

To be fair how many fans who travel away regularly aren't ambassadors ? Also how many fans who travel away regularly won't be able to get tickets through various sources / clubs ? Close to zero I reckon. As always everyone who's always there will be at Chelsea.

There will be some though.
They have all the info on how many folk have been away and to how many, they should have graded it on a 9/8/7 aways basis.

Will we even have a club to support by the time we face Chelsea??? More important things at the moment

The sooner the club can get our money the better it is for them. Hence hardly any restrictions on this game. Some people have got some question to answer come judgement day.

I'm with CCFCLOVER on this one - it's the least of our worries - worst comes to the worst S4C will do.

It would be amazing to boycott it.
Imagine the shed end with no away fans.
that would get the press going
Thu Jan 28, 2010 9:08 pm
im an ambassador and go to some away games but agree the fans who go to all away games get tickets first
Thu Jan 28, 2010 9:09 pm
Its a disgrace, sure the fans loyalty should count for something.

Vince,
I couldn't agree with you any more. I believe it's a complete disgrace that someone who never misses a game has to go into a lottery with people who only fancy going to the big games. It would be so easy to reward the people who support the club every week. Just one day to buy your ticket if you have been to six aways or the previous cup games.......

Not surprised by this in the slightest. Unfortunately the club don't seem to care about fan loyalty, they could make it fair and drag the sales out over a week (starting with 8 aways down to 3 or something), or they could sell them all in a day and get the money in the bank. That's all that interests them right now, MONEY IN THE BANK, ASAP.
Thankfully the majority of regular travellers will be fine in getting a ticket, but I know some people will miss out. Some regular travellers missed out on Newcastle away, hopefully they will be more lucky this time!
