President Obama appeals for calm

US President Barack Obama today waded into the debate around Cardiff City football club by appealing to it's supporters for calm amidst the turmoil surrounding the club. In an address to the UN summit in Lisbon, President Obama spoke of the strength and unity required of fans during this testing time
"As President of the United States it is my duty to not sit back and allow a situation like the one brewing on Sloper Road to continue. The war on Ridsdale will not be won with force, it will be won by winning the hearts and minds of the people of Ely, Canton and Grangetown, by appealing to the humanity of our brothers in Splott, Roath and the Valleys.
The United States will not waver from this commitment, we will stand side by side with Cardiff City Football Club come what may. Nothing gives me a heavier heart than sending our young men and women into harms way but I will not hesitate to deploy the full might of our armed forces into the Canton Stand on Saturday if all peaceful avenues fail"

I can't believe the President has got involved, guys maybe we should hold off on the protests for a bit.
