The press conference (again)

Fri Jan 29, 2010 9:50 am

Why was Peter Ridsdale the only club representative at yesterday`s press conference?

If , as he claimed ,he had the full backing of the board why didn`t any of the others turn up to support him and confirm that view?

Would have been quite easy to hold the press conference immediately following the board meeting where he says they gave that support , so they would have been present to attend.

I find it strange that the press didn`t even ask where the others were.

Cos their hanging him out to dry. His own mouth and lies will do for him. His arrogance certainly shone through for all the fans to see in the press conference yesterday didn't it ? Virtually laughing in the face of the fans  The knives are out in the local press, that will soon become the national press, lots of plotting going on behind his back allegedly, TG coming out of the woodwork. A nice loud but peaceful protest on Saturday. The net is closing in. He's got two choices resign or be sacked because that is what will happen anytime soon. It can't go on much longer.

I posted last night he was on borrowed time. The only question I still have is why he did not go yesterday. His position appears untenable.
can I assume that his pay off demands were too high for the skint City?

i would say he refused to go without a payoff which temporary stalled proceedings
there is more than one way to skin a cat
leave it to the people who know how to do it

He just showed how out of touch he is with the fans and the people that pay his wages

He has and is contiuing to hang himself - He still thinks he is doing a good job

He is in it for himself and noone else and if we do get a takeover watch him say what a good job he did - this is his last job as noone else would have him so he is trying to secure financial gain for his long term retirement :o

Well Keith, I'd say that was pretty simple. They all support Ridsdale, but he is the one paid more, to take the flak. They've hid behind him for 4 years, and still do today.
