I believe they haven't had an AGM for the last few years, share holders should be demanding to know what is happening with their money, no matter how many or how few shares they hold.
Would you as CEO want an EGM, yes you would if you were honest and transparent (remember that word) but you wouldn't want one if you had load's to hide and were embarrassed to let the share holders be made aware of how you've manged things.
So which of thes eoptions do you think best describes the situation at our club.
The Trust will get the 5% of shares neede to call the EGM with ease, they have done the hard ground work allready, and after recent events, there are more and more share holders coming forward to proxy their votes over to the trust.
We can and we should demonstrate tommorrow, just keep it legal, but he must be shown how we feel, he honestly believes that only a small minority of us are upset at what's gone on.
EGM and the sooner the better,

how can you not have an AGM each year? and there must be a commitee which effectivly means find the standing orders from who ever is the secretary then find out who are the committee then find out what percentage of that commitee are needed to call an EGM. It should all be in the standing orders all laid out together. they can not refuse if this is done and it will have to be called and held within a laid out timescale.

Company law changed in 2006 (at least I think it was 2006), meaning that companies of City's size are no longer legally obliged to hold AGMs.
