Now before anyone accuses me of being a supporter of Steve Borley and the board. Let me spell out some facts i have supported City since 1970 and i have forked out £399 for myself and £299 for my daughter for next season.
So tonight i was at CCS for the Sportsmans dinner in aid of the Academy and i spoke to Steve Borley and keeping in mind we had both had a drink this is what emerged,
1. Personally i have always thought Steve is 100% Cardiff City and speaking to him tonight just confirmed my belief.
2 Steve said that he has invested in city for over thirteen years and at the end of the day he did not expect to get his investment back.
3. I asked him directly would we pay the tax by Feb 10th and to be honest wait for it............... he said no....... but he did expect the Club to agree a payment schedule with HMRC and we would not get wound up.
4. I then asked him did he support Ridsdale and he said he was asked the same question by journalists yesterday and he said he gave a politicians answer (In other words he doesn't support Ridsdale but at this point he can't come out and say it)
5. I asked him if the proposed investment from the Malaysians was real he said it was but quantified it by saying no one was going to invest in a Club thinking they would make money.
6. I asked him where the season ticket money that we had invested had gone and he stated that a lot of people including some older investors were trying hard to find a solution to our financial problems. This did not really answer my question and to be honest Steves answer worried me
7. It is obvious that there is things going on in the board room that most of us are unaware of Steve stated again that he felt any demostrations tomorrow would be counter productive, I said however that the lack of honesty towards the fans and Ridsdales glib comment regarding the tax meant a demostration was inevitable.
8. Steve conceded that the season ticket offer had been dishonest and said that it had been Ridsdales idea and the Board had insisted that he apologise to the fans but that they were disappointed in the way Ridsdale had handled the apology.
I am sorry this is such a long post but many of you out there will know me and know i'm not a bullshitter and i am only stating what i have personally heard.
Having spoken to Steve i honestly think he his doing everything in his power to pull us through this crisis and people who have slagged him off for supporting Ridsdale are out of order. Steve like all of us only wants whats best for Cardiff City FC.
However in conclusion i honestly think we will eventually end up in administration then and only then will we see new investment.
Before anyone slags me off for the above comments please PM me first to see if we can have a civil conversation otherwise feel free to comment

i personally think that administration is a forgone conclusion and i think there is a reason behind it, ridsdale will get jack shit and that will put hum in to bankruptcy, imo i think there are demons at work and they are working in our favour

I think the 'payment schedule' option to HMRC is rather optimistic. They will want some idea where the money will be coming from, and in the absence of a 'land deal' with the council, the answer in nowhere.
As at 9.09 am on Saturday 26th January 2010, administration is a probabilityb, not a possibility.
Well done everyone .

It's only really confirmed what has been said on here for a while anyway in truth. Doesn't take away from an excellent piece and to hear it come from yet another source gives Borley's documented perceived line of thought more substance, even though there is much he cannot say. I confess to wondering if Borley has done the best for us in recent times, but I also appreciate the impossible situation he must be in. It is such an emotive time that it has been hard controlling my anger against anyone involved at boardroom level, Steve included, I just hope it all works out. Alas, as much as many respected people think it will turn out rosy, albeit only just, administration is all I can see coming, with only the slimmest of chances of the Malaysians stepping in before its too late imo. Please God let me be wrong, but why would anyone want to invest in us

Do you think admin works in our favour? Seriously?
Screwing ourselves over to ruin Ridsdale is a pyrrhic victory.
