This is my daughter just before starting her chemo, mad city fan, ain't been to the new stadium yet and she gagging to come down when she gets better. She into her Bluebirds big time, working on her leeds supporting boyfriend though.
This is her second battle with cancer, she first had it 5 years ago and had to have a 62 section of bone replaced in her right leg.Was doing really well and was actually training to be a P.E. teacher, she was a real good all round athlete before the cancer, and even after her hip and thigh bone replacement that she went through, she still was very active playing football and spending half her life in the gym.
The cancer has now returned and she got another scrap on her hands, but she a great kid full of fight, very positive and a real breath of fresh air.We all trying to stay positive and hopefully you will see her down the City soon as possible, or even Wembley for another cup final appearance, she ain't stop talking about the last one yet.
Football is far more than just a distraction, it's a sense of belonging to a huge family, and we have the biggest and best footballing family anywhere, let's celebrate that and make sure no one takes it away from us. Onwards and upwards.
