Only around the goal areas is looks bad. So comparing it to the Liberty how many goals have they seen there. Explains it really doesn't it.

Thought the same, especially in fron to of the dugouts, but after seeing a few games on the Championship last night I don't think it was much worse than others.
Nowhere near a Ninian pitch but that had many seasons of reseeding and bedding in.

Check the records,The liberty was poor for the first season too.

leather jackets,i didnt see any valley commandoes on the pitch
but the pitch looks more like a spud patch every time i go there,especialy down the touch line grandstand side....egg is playing f**k with the surface

And playing rugby on it today didnt do it any favours either
