I think the comments from the Trusts Chairman in relation to the demo on Saturday are excellent, well said Paul.
I felt somewhat let down by comments on the walesonline site where Cardiff City fans openly criticised those who attended and voiced their concerns at the demonstration.Callign their efforts a waste of time and achieve nothing.
However Corky has it spot on:
Mr Corkery said that while the Supporters’ Trust did not support or condone Saturday’s demonstration, it would be “disdainful” if the gathering at the club’s ground in Leckwith was used as propaganda.
He said: “If the club turns this around and says that it was only 200 or 300 people who turned out that would be wrong. It would be disdainful.
“It was a sporadic display of dissatisfaction by fans who felt they wanted to voice their individual opinions. And they did that safely, with no arrests.”
