Their non Football idol growing up.

Yes I loved punk/ska/60s etc music,

But Elvis Presley was my idol and one day I would love to visit Memphis. :ayatollah:

my idol was evel -knievel, used to think he was some kind of super hero, lol. sent of for his autograph and got a signed photo a year later, swapped it a year ago for a ww1 medal :lol:

For me, Paul Weller, Brue Foxton and Rick Buckler - The Jam. Can't believe I was so in to them at the age of 10 when Going Underground came out in 1980 (!!). By Christmas '82 two years later, when they split up, I had the entire back catalogue and was dreaming of a Lambretta or Vespa :D . ........... And, all these years later, nothing HAD come close to them them since, until....THE RIFLES (see my Avatar). What a band - Check 'em out :ayatollah:

taped it on sky plus and watched it yesterday . friggin loves it i does :ayatollah:

I was going through and about to put Terry Hall and Suggs and then read this. What a tw*t I am, how could I even not consider the same answer. My granddad was above everything football and non football in my life. RIP Pops and thankyou Adamski for giving me the shove :ayatollah:

Music wise i used to follow the clash but i used to travel as much as i could to see a band called the Angelic Upstarts!!!! 8-)

Hey Mozzer, got it on a (now well worn) DVD :D Top movie and great music from The Who. Remember seeing it in c1984 and wishing my Raleigh Grifter was a Scooter :) :lol: Those were the days.......

hey worcester bit of an odd situation with me as i loved the mod music back then but half my mates were skinheads , half my mates were mods and me got moved into the casual clobber all because i was pretty good at tennis and played for my county when i was 15-16 and all i wore was taccinni and fila tops and next thing i knw everyone was wearing it down the city :lol:
