IF THE MALAYSIANS WERE ACTUALLY INTERESTED...

then why would they stand by and watch the land sale happen? Surely if they want the club this would be a very attractive asset that they wouldn't want to be sold? They could pay off the tax and keep the land for when they do takeover. I would have thought this would reduce the overall appeal of a takeover?

I think if the malaysians want the club they want it 100% and all the current board etc gone until they can do that they wont move, I guess everything will be a lot clearer by the time we go to the bridge

You could look at it from a different angle. It has been documented that the Malaysians are concerned about the level of debt at the club.

We know about the £2.7m to the tax man, but there are other hidden debts one of which is £3m to build the House of Sport. I suppose you could make an agruement that by selling off this land the club is wiping nearly £6m off it's debts and making the club more investable.

On the other hand there are concerns that the land is being disposed of at bottom price and that further land (the coach park) has also been included which hadn't previously been mentioned and it is unclear just how much we are receiving for that.

Or they are just fed up of the bullshit the Riddler has told them and they don't know whether to believe the b*stard.

I think they're waiting for us to go into administration. If we don't then they'll stop their interest but if we do they'll swoop in. Do they have any power or sway in preventing the land sale? I wouldn't have thought so.

Why would they put money in (c.1.7m) and then wait for admin before taking over :?:

How much is a 10 point deduction worth to them? A couple of loan signings and we could make a crack for premiership football this year.

Nothing at all adds up with the Malaysian investment, so until something real, provable and substantial comes to light, I will maintain my belief that's its all bullshit. I would say these characters are as close to buying the club as Sullivan ever was. I think that now, the only thing that will save this club from administration is promotion to the Premiership. If that doesn't happen this year, you watch PMG strip the assets/playing squad, then let the club slip into admin. Lets face it, as the season ticket money for next year has already been spent, what income, is there to actually run a Championship club?

It is total bullshit, who in they right mind is going to buy us with our level of debt, its not going to happen. We need to cut costs and slowly build for any future.
