Sportsman ever in My OPINION is the ONE AND ONLY "ALI" Mohammed Ali THe World Heavy Weight Champion 3 Times(I think) and a Class on his own.

phil taylor.... not as legendary as ali.... but in his sport he is without a doubt the best theres ever been...a true proffesional

Was going to say him but thought people would rinse me

he does not get any credit from anyone outside of darts - 15 times world champion say no more

For my Ryan Giggs has to one of the greatest. To play football at that level, for the amount for years he has is something to admire. Or Sugar Ray Lenoard :ayatollah:

Jimmy Driscoll is one of my favorites, read his book about 25 years ago called Pearless jim i think. Cracking book, also the ghost with a hammer in his hands aka the Tylorstown terror Jimmy Wilde, one of the best boxers ever lived along with our Joe Julio ceasar Chavez, :ayatollah:

May not be famous but Emlyn Walters- My dad's side of the family. Died about 10 years ago but turned his back on rugby union to go up north for league. Welsh WRU only wanted degree efforts etc which he didn't have, moved up north, hell of a career with Bradford Northern and Great Britain before coming back with his family etc.
