Fit Out Overspend

I notice there is a thread on the other board about this fit out over spend.

What is eveyones opinion on this? For sure there was NO overspend on the facilities under the Canton Stand. What are the facilities like under the other stands?

As Steve mentioned on the other board, this was a smoke screen, the project was considerably over budget and was known about from the start.

There is a load of bullshit coming from that statement by PR, Corky can answer it better than me.

If this is true, surely that gives us even more reason to question Ridsdale's bonus for completion of the stadium? I'm sure he said that it was because he'd delivered it on time and in budget?

Correct thats what PR said and now he has changed once again on what he originally stated lol.

I wish I knew the answers to this question...it will be a major topic at any EGM


Was the budget for fit out...£3 million and it cost £7 million? that was £4 million over

Was the budget £3 million and they spent £10 million that is a £7 million over spend?


Either way what the feck did they spend it on?????????????????????????

Granted its very nice in the corperate areas but the rest of the concourses are bare...even in the grandstand...no tables, no chairs, no carpets, no ceilings, pipes exposed in bogs etc etc etc...


Add this to the fact Steve Borley paid for some stuff his self, plus the changing rooms were done free and the corperate areas were done by Compass in exchange for total control of half our stadium including catering....
