I don't think it's an issue at the moment, he couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo! (yes, I know he scored on Saturday, but it was a fluke - proved by the ones he missed in the same game).

There have been loads of players who've been in the same position, and who haven't celebrated when they've scored.

I'd prefer him to not celebrate, rather than go to the other extreme like Adebayor did!

i think chops is spot on, he obviousley loves the club supported them all his life so i can understand him not wanting to look like he was rubbing their noses in it if he scores, but he'll be doing his best for city on friday and i think he will get one

Good on him to have respect for the club he grew up with,cant fault the man,hope the geordies appreciate it.

If i was a footballer and come up against the City, i'd f*cking never celebrate, and would probably miss my chance on purpose.
