I see mcphail is back in training now, does anybody no if he will play on friday, i think this is a game we need mcphail in the middle with whits, mcphail to do the defensive side and then whitts to do the attacking side and also mcphail can be very attackin some times just like against derby at home

I think the club have said he will be back by WBA on 16th Feb. Trouble is, bringing him back earlier may cause a relapse of his thigh injury. However, it is tempting with Rae's injury. However, the club have to give Blake a chance in midfield as I feel he has done OK in the games he has come on as sub. I would not play Wildig at Newcastle. Not enough experience for such an important game.

Hope he changes the formation. Whitts and blake against the 3 central midfielders doesn't fill me with confidence .

Wildig done an excellent job when he played against WBA !!
