im sure i read somwhere there were 250k pubs in britian and around 50 a day close

there an old bloke about 70 who as drunk in my local c the 60
he haves 4 pints a night an about 5 smokes how can u tell a man who has drunk inthe pub for
nigh on 40 years to go outside for smoke
that what doing the pub trade and i not smoker

yer i know what you mean, pubs should have a choice, and a notice outside so people have a choice

also beer price set by the goverment and brewrey play alot too, went to a social club the other day and paid 3.20 for a stella and £3.50 in town etc

you normally got to take out £100 for a decent night out

id rather get a few stellas from the super markets now

I usually drink in the Rompney, but i'm surprised pubs like The Hendre and The Port-O-Call are still open, especailly when The Masons take more business from The Port, and The Newbridge take more business from the Hendre.

the social clubs used to be cheap now they got to put prices up to stay in line with pubs

otherwise they go bust like u said for a gud night out u wont get change out off 100
more if u take wife out

thought the port-o-call was mostly a restraunt

i live in a very small village and we had 1 pub and that has bloody closed now
