In the press celebrities are downed and attacked for news.

In everyday life lucky people in this country are not celebrated.

I think most people do. It's the gutter press who take cheap shots because it is news for them!

PS I take it you were not talking about PR there? You know, New Stadium on time and within budget; FA Cup Final; High Flying In the Championship!!

carl i am a celebrity this week and i am struggling to come to terms with it

paparatzi chasing me to work etc etc, then i was photographed with a famous author, which i must say has not helped my reputation much

i will over come this burden, as i have been put down on other message boards life goes on

Always pissed me off about this coubtry.

Imagine you win the Lottery tonight, you go to work and celebrate by throwing a party, you are a flash git now.

or you just buy everyone a drink in the local, now your a tight git.

just an example but you know what I mean. Just be happy for the winner

the press can build someone up and turn on them just as quick.
this country does not celebrate success and loves to destroy people who have gained success.

Its the British way that bad news seems to be the only news that sells newspapers etc , how often do u ever see reports af any good news ? It dont sell papers does it , JT making the headlines coz he's bonked someone behind his mrs back but no srories about the decent guys who dont or who do good stuff for charity etc . Example was Bothroyd donated money to the girls from half time last sat ( or him telling Chegs to take his banner down ) , CCFC make the news for either when we have money probs or orr fans mis=behave . At least the Tank Regiment acknowledged us after the Bristol game

Problem is, the celebrites in this country who are celebrated (well, at least fill the tacky rags, anyway) are people like Jordan, Kerry Katona and any Big Brother winner. and they deserve all the press maulings they get

We should praise success much more ,think more about the positives in everyone and everything .Our Club deserves much more support from both the local and national press ,so do the people from around the whole of Wales who have made a success of themselves .Take the positives from the past and use them for the future .Plenty of talent within the whole of the UK which goes unnoticed .
