Tired and Outclassed

The players are tired the squad is too thin. Newcastle are able to go out in the transfer window and freshen things up with a few new players we can't thanks to one man. Newcastle have experience and class all over the field. No offence but it's too early to start with McPhail in midfield Darcy Blake isnt good enough and we have nothing else available apart from Taiwo. Bothroyd gets injured and we have nobody to replace him. Sounds like the defence is having a mare particularily Gerrard and Matthews could do with a break but we only have in my view a poor player in Quinn to replace him.We are really scraping the barrel now!!! Dave Jones isn't a favourite of mine but he can only go with what he's got and it aint a lot and we have one person to thank for that. All we can do is come out in the second half and battle and try to save face.

He could have changed formation. DJ is far from blameless . He's an arrogant tosser.

Like I said I don't like him and I have been one of the most vociferous knockers of his but his hands are tied. Just look at what he's got in comparison to Newcastle. I believe they signed 6 players in the transfer window and they are all starting tonight. That's a massive advantage. Our lads are knackered. In my view there is only one person to blame and thats the guy at the top.

totally agree, better comments on this thread than the other....how anyone can single handedly blame mcphail for the first 15mins is beyond me... hey ho all opinions i suppose...
