People in pubs yesterday??

Watching some overweight fools continually running in straight lines carrying an egg or kicking it aimlesly out of what looked like the field of play. Women in cowboy hats not understanding rules of the game?? Anyone know what that was yesterday>?? some kind of minority sport for fat people or chavs?? help!!
