If they don't get the cash tomorrow we'll be wound up in court on Wednesday - just hope the Riddler doesn't just stick a cheque in the psot

Pointless sending it if they are not willing to wait until after the 24th for the rest. It doesn't look good does it.

I really do fear that the end is near for the club now

If the people who own the stadium will not put any money into the club WHAT use is the stadium without a club pulling fair size crowds?

I heard some top info today. Tony Pennock has grassed us up to the league. Supposedly we havnt paid the bill for the youth up the Vale of Glamorgan and hes gone and grassed us to the league. This info has come from my work colleague whose son plays for 1 of our young sides. The league are looking into it but it doesnt sound good. if correct then we could be losing some of our youngsters to him at Swansea. Hes their head of youth development
Jack barsteward. Have you heard of any of this Annis ?

I think they have to know tomorrow if HMRC will accept the 1 mill and the rest later. If they won`t accept, they can put the club in administration before Wednesday.
I think that`s right annis.

HMRC used to be what was known as "Preferentail creditors" Theygottheir money before anyone else. Thisstautus was takenaway some time ago. The result of that has been twofold. Firstly they became less tolerant of outstanding debts. Secondly, however, they were forced to take a more Commercial stance when it came to negotiations. It is likely, therefore, that if indeed it is truethat they will be offered £1m tomorrow with the balance within a veryshort period then they will probably accept. The alternative for them would be that the Club enters Administration and they then stand behind the secured creditors; the Bank and PMG,and alongside the many unsecured creditors including Langston.Let's say the ultimate payment tothem would be no more than 25p in the £ (and that may or may not be a generous assessment) then they would recover no more than £700k at the very best. It's a no brainer for them. They have to accept.

Just heared off my mate that works for Cardiff Bus, that they haven't been paid for the park and ride system they have been running for the club. Anyone know if this is Fact :?:

What baffles me with this is , myself like many others are self employed & have a deadline to pay the bill or get a instant fine. As far as i know we have no room for negotiation, If City go passed the deadline are we fined instantly? If this is the case surely things will go from bad to worse.

They will take that ..... chill.

So whose been negotiating this deal with the revenue?

Re: "£1 MILLION"

Mon Feb 08, 2010 9:02 pm

They will accept that.

Administration would see them get, at most, £750k.

Take £1Million now and they still have a claim should the club still go tits up in the future, at which point they would still be owed about £2Million and can expect £500k from within adfministration.

So that's £1.25Million as opposed to £750k NOW and still with the chance of recouping the lot at some point.

Re: "£1 MILLION"

so where is the 3.2 million gone from season tickets sales in december. sounds like we owe every fugger money. we also had extra income from bristol city replay and s44c screening both matches if as stated this was un planned income (previous messages) where also has this gone. i am at a loss to where all this monies goes if we still havnt paid any debt to any one. i thought at least the tax bill would be sorted

Exactly!!! Simple question...should have a simple answer.

Re: "£1 MILLION"

We've surely had more income coming into this club in recent years than any other time in our history, so where has it all gone? I know it's been said it's gone on paying players/staffs wages but surely that's got to budgetted for.If teams like Blackpool, Doncaster & Scunthorpe can survive on a third of our crowds, why are we in this mess?
