But I Believe Borley has changed his mind about us Demonstrating tomorrow, he is away in Spain for the next few days. I believe that its time to turn the heat up on him and thats not from me, you wont hear Borley asking us to calm down anymore on PR.

We should have already been protesting for weeks and months Annis imo.

What is the straw that broke the camel's back Annis? Your opinion obviously as I know SB wouldn't broadcast a personal view at present. But you can of course tell us YOUR take on it?

this then would suggest that the malaysians are either not around anymore or they are not being scared off by us demonstrating cause this has always been used against us.
here is what Steve Borley came on here and wrote :
"I wish to appeal to the fans as a fellow supporter for calm over the coming weeks. I understand your frustration and anger but there is a real danger emotions will get out of hand and damage our reputation as a club during a period we are actively seeking new investment. The eyes are on us a a club and we have to show we are worth taking a chance with. You were worth the 3rd and 4th goals against Leicester and thats the passion new owners or investor will look for. I urge you get behind the team, the manager and the club and show your passion in a positive way. I still cant believe our next 2 games after Saturday are Newcastle and Chelsea games I thought were beyond my dreams. There is still hope and I urge you to keep the faith.
The board are working hard to resolve the tax issue with the revenue. If we didnt think we had a chance to resolve it we would be duty bound to call in the administrators and I am confident we will find a way through."
So what is going now are there investors or not ?

Borley said it to a number of fans up in Newcastle and I have just spoken to some-one to do with him.
Guy has just joined the board will be announced very soon.

If it is true that Guy has joined the Board then I would categorically state that this Club will not enter Administration tomorrow or in the near future.

I know that from personal experience, I have been lambasted on other sites, BBC 606, IC Wales and CCMB like you for highlighting the severity of our problems and still do even now with people unwilling or ignorant enough to believe the problems are not as severe as they actually are with some even still having the audacity to believe that Ridsdale is our saviour! I know you have been through the same. What I have found confusing though is that at times you have urged us not to demonstrate and whilst I completely understand that you only have CCFC's interests at heart, given that you clearly know how bad PR is for our club and the perilous state of our club, I found it frustrating that someone who carries so much influence and dare I say respect with the fans and knew so much, urged us not to demonstrate at times when an albeit slowly increasing number of fans began to realise the true extent of our plight. It may not have made a difference, but I would be able to live with myself a damn sight more having done all we could and failed rather than stood by at times and watched our club die whilst Ridsdale raped and pillaged our club with gay abandon. Hopefully it is not too late to make a difference and save our club. Incidentally, rightly or wrongly, I believe Borley's influence is the reason for this and appreciate you and other excellent contributors have allegiance to him, I do not and believe, again rightly or wrongly, that he is culpable in this mess too by association and his predominant silence. Having the club's best interests at heart is one thing, to do the right thing quite another. I hope to be proven wrong about him and hope that it was and is all part of some cunning master plan.

I suppose it's a numbers game. As many have pointed out previously Ridsdale has surrounded himself with his pals Harris and Whitely always having the majority vote.
In theory with Guy joining the board he could vote with Borley and may be TG?

Yes and No, No because Guy cant afford to loose £9 Million and Borley cant Afford to loose his Millions the Club Owe him.
Mon Feb 08, 2010 8:10 pm
So whats Guy going to do Annis? Lose £9.0m now or sink another £3.0m in the club and lose £12.0m in a month or so?

A week is a long time but why would Borley change his mind ?
Unless things have taken a turn for the worse.
I am not blaming you Annis just glad your keeping people informed but for once I wish someone at this club would come out and be honest and tell us exactly whats going on.
Is there investment or not ?
Mon Feb 08, 2010 8:11 pm
Annis, do you believe we should protest during the game? and if so do you believe the stewards will turn a blind eye to Banners?

But the worry must be no-one at the club has the financial means to bank roll the club's wage bill of £1.2m until the summer, quite aside from the overall debt and all other running costs too? To my mind, no-one has that kind of money floating about, whatever their best intentions are.
Mon Feb 08, 2010 8:13 pm
Annis what does "a lot has changed in a week mean"? Is it for the or worse and who told you ? I suspect Borley is abroad to soften the blow of our imminent death or to be the first rat jumping ship.

I understand where your coming from but Borley asked me and others on here to stay calm. I backed him because I trusted him, things have changed in a week dramatically, but I still had my quiet protest at Bristol City Away with a few others off here with OUR BANNERS.
Mon Feb 08, 2010 8:18 pm
So what has changed in a week then?
Mon Feb 08, 2010 8:21 pm
This is just so frustrating bits of this bits of that coming out almost on a daily basis. However we the real fans are left in the dark like mushrooms. I would have thought if Steve Borley wanted us to know anything its well within his power to speak to someone who can speak to someone and it would end up on here or the other MB. I spoke to SB at the Paul Merson do the other day and although sheepish he said "Dont worry It'll be ok" but I for one am losing faith as there are always more negatives than positives coming out.
I just cant see without imminent substancial investment how we can last until the end of the season, we can barely afford the current TAX bill and more payments are due in the near future. We have a big wage bill and Sam's payment to worry about etc etc so how the hell are we going to be able to pay, it just doesnt add up?
I will be there at 9.45pm tomorrow but what good will it do, yes we get rid of the biggest con man at the club but how many more are there entrenched within the board and how long until we own up to being in a financial mire where we just have to bite the bullet and at the very least enter administration?

Not much point in joining the Board of a club about to go into administration is there?
Anyone any idea why Guy is joining at this particular time?

Perhaps the Malaysians have asked him to get on board and after all we will be one down when PR goes!!!
Mon Feb 08, 2010 8:34 pm
very worrying that sb has gone abroad for a few days.
could we going into admin tommorow?the silence is deafening at the moment.
more worried than ever that we are on the point of meltdown.
