very lucky to have seen marc bolan in his prime and bowie at hammersmith odeon when he was ziggy.
bands like the who, led zepplin, deep purple and black sabbath to name but a few.
best male singers ive ever seen luther vandross and mick hucknall
best female by a country mile barbara streisand in vegas no backing singers just the purest voice ive ever heard

Cheggers mine has always been Elvis lol, but at least I am not a fan of the Beatles.

For Vocalists i agree with the other Poster...Steve Perry from Journey,he was the only guy on the USA for Africa charity song who actually could sing.....also love a guy called Steve Overland from 80s melodic rock outfit FM (bet im the only 1 to have heard of em!!)

Seen Slade in the early eighties when not so popular...what a live act ....place was only half full but they gave it everything and changed my mind about them...thought they were just a glam rock band.

red hot chili peppers for me, after 20 years they still have that raw enthusiasm, seen them in 3 continents in 7 countries 11 times. loads of other great bands but i would be listing them forever
