Do you think Borley (1.5m loans, £1m shares, +stadium debts) and more particularly PMG (£10m loans, £2m shares) would have taken the risks PR has.
No chance.

not actively part of awarding these contracts.

My initial thoughts were Steve Borley had fed us bullshit and now was leaving a sinking ship and there was no investment.
But given time to calm down and think logically I am now thinking differently and this is my view now.
I believe that Steve Borley and Paul Guy want Peter Ridsdale out.
I was told back in the first week of January that the only way to get rid of PR would be us the fans, and more so the shareholders too.
I was told in that same week that there would be no new signings in January.
I was also told that the tax bill would not be paid before the end of January too.
I was told that the tax bill would be sorted before Feb 10th and that the House of Sport land would be used to finance the deal.
ALL THIS WAS SAID IN THE FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY.
A week ago I was told that Paul Guy would become a board director and going on reports tonight it seems that this could be announced soon.
With the EGM that has been announced and one that Steve Borley told fans that we would get I now believe that Guy and Borley are getting on with what they want. PR OUT.
I THINK THAT FEB 24TH WILL SEE PAUL GUY AND STEVE BORLEY JOIN WITH OTHER DISGRUNTLED SHAREHOLDERS.
The Masterplan maybe ?

The rest of the board can get rid of Ridsdale whenever they want - they just have to pay him off the rest of his contract. Whether 'fan power' or boardroon decision, he has to be paid either way.
