STEVE BORLEY SPEAKS OUT

Mon Feb 08, 2010 11:26 pm

ON THIS MESSAGEBOARD :ayatollah:

"I still dont believe demonstrating is positive, the EGM is sorted and although the last demonstration was restrained there was still negative feedback to would be investors. I still call people to think before they act bearing in mind the club is being actively marketed and image is everything. Get behind the team and the club in times of adversity is still my message because the outside world wants us to fail.

I have to go to Majorca to sort out an insurance problem on a property I own and contary to belief not deserting a sinking ship although it still has a few holes in it. Should plug enough of them before wednesday so enjoy the game tomorrow night.

Tg is working very hard for the cause, he is very much a bluebird."

All makes sense. Especially the part about everyone else wanting us to fail.

Steve, whilst i appreciate all that you have done for the club i reserve my right to show my disgust and feelings about the way the club is being run. we pay our money, we have our say. without us there would be little income for the club. as for marketing the club any would be investor will see that we are passionate and we care. we will always back the team and any board that shows us an iota of respect. we will not be lied to anymore.

Sorry Steve, supported this club longer than you and dont believe anything anyone, including you unfortunately, says about this club of ours anymore. Demonstrations are going ahead tonight and will intensify until that liar finally leaves this club.
We will not allow him to Harmorrage it anymore - times up, our backs are against the wall.

Steve.

Whilst I appreciate the positive remarks , I must pull you up on your comment about the EGM if you are reading this in Majorca or elsewhere.

As you know, there has not been an EGM called at all to allow shareholders to discuss the club`s financial position , how it got into it , and what are the plans to get out of it.

The general meeting called for 24 Feb is a single issue meeting where the only item on the agenda is the sanction needed for your acquisition of the House of Sport land (a deal for which I thank you by the way).

I am not necessarily including you in this , but it seems that the board are yet again using whatever means are available to it to put off having an open and honest debate with all its shareholders over the financial mess.Otherwise , why couldn`t an agenda item to discuss the current position have been put on the agenda.?

I agree Steve. We need to galvanize as fans and get behind the club... on the pitch! However, I don't blame anyone for demonstrating against the way their money has been handled.

I also have to reject the claims that the outside world wants us to fail. I know a lot of football fans from various clubs and all have given me their best and hope we pull through because no-one wants a club to fall.
