So RISDALE GOES TONIGHT

Tue Feb 09, 2010 5:39 pm

What happens then ???

We still owe loads of money
We still have a very limited income stream.
We still have spent next years season ticket money.
We are in hock over our heads.
Anybody coming in will have to take on the debts, the wages and have to foot all the running costs till the end of next season.

If we go into Admin does will a potential investor pick us up cheap ?????
If so do you fork out 40 mill plus now or wait a few weeks and get us for a lot less

??????????????????????????????????????????????????

they did not get rich by throwing their money about willy nilly
especially in the mega gamble that is a football club

We are fucked if he stays or goes IMO, we all just have to wait and see what happens over the next couple of days/weeks/months.

If Ridsdale walks out of his own accord - surely that means hes not entitled to any compensation. Hence the reason of him not quitting already?

And - If he does go - at least we dont have an incompetent idiot hadling our accounts. He clearly has no productive use with the clubs coffers, therefore he's better out than in isn't he. Any normal person who would replace him with an ounce of mathematical knowledge will definately see the dire financial state of the club and start to put things in order as soon as they arrive, whether this be the malaysians, another outside or even internal source - who knows?

Lets just get the three points tonight - act as the twelth man - and do what we can do to our potetial as fans! :ayatollah:

if Ridsdales walks away tonight, in my opinion nothing will change.
We will have the same board of directors that have overseen everything over the last couple of years, the same company secretary, the same 'finance' director.
We will still be in the shit, and in my opinion there's no way the malaysians are just waiting for Ridsdale to go as either the board would have voted him out or Ridsdale would have left and claimed he 'saved' the club by negotiating the malaysian takeover.
We wouldn't be in a much better position as who would take charge of the day to day running of the club until we find a permanent solution? He's managed to mess things up pretty badly, but it's his own reputation he's trying to save more than anything. Never mind saving our club, he's probably more worried about not letting another football club under his control go to the wall.
Maybe there are investors waiting for administration, but I can't see why they would risk losing our star players just to save some cash. What's to say there wouldn't be more interest if we went into administration and the malaysians lose out to some crook like Steele!
