Last night I felt for the 50 odd City fans who turned up to demonstrate AND you can feel proud of your selfs, and yes we were there, Corky, Gwyn, Baz,Cheggers, Thomas,Mr Davies Ely Boy etc. We were let down by hundreds of so called City fans, they have lost there heart and passion and as fans we were finished the day we left Ninian Park.
Yes they have struck a DEAL, BY PAYING £1.2 MILLION FOR NOW, BUT MY CALCULATIONS WE STILL OWE ABOUT £3.5 MILLION TO THE TAX MAN AND LET ME TELL YOU HE WONT GO AWAY.
IN MY OPINION OUR SO CALLED CARDIFF FANS ARE LETTING HIM RAPE OUR CLUB and HE MUST BE LAUGHING HIS SOCKS OFF AT OUR FANS
PR HIMSELF IS BEING WOUND UP HIMSELF PERSONALLY OWING £350,00 TO THE TAX MAN WITH WH SPORTS SO HOW CAN HE BE ALLOWED TO RUN OUR CLUB WHEN HE CANT RUN HIS OWN BUSINESS
WE HAVE LOST OUR PASSION FOR OUR CLUB

Annis I hung around there for 5 mins after the game to protest, couldn't beleive thousands of fans could not be bothered, may be the feeling is that the demostrations were to late to stop anything in court today . But the passionate fans we had at ninian are dissappearing. I bet ridsdale was laughing his head off last night.

I know it felt sick, todays fans DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT A DEMO IS ABOUT, PR MUST BE LAUGHING AT US ALL THE WAY TO HIS OWN PRIVATE ACCOUNT

This was my point when we were talking about the sudden rise in Chelsea fan interest in our upcoming game. Their club was killed by cash and since then all other clubs have been seduced by the HOPE of the same thing.
There are new fans coming in and are buying into the dream of nice sandwiches and premiership football. They therefore do not want to rock the boat and blindly follow their owners.
The club is lost to the fans. What do they think will happen next month and what will it take to make them stand ouside and make themselves heard.

I stayed till just after 10 nothing was happening so i left. Just a suggestion ever thought of staying in the ground and walking round to the directors box? To demo?

That man needs a chant of his own, "Your just a gardner in a suit, gardner in a suuuiit, your just a gardner in a suit". No offcence to gardners, but haow has he moved from cutting the grass to managing a stadium

Reading the posts from here and other site may have lead to alot of confusion in regards to demo, as most was told to have faith in Borley and asked not to demonstrate.
Im confused myself as it stated here that we should put our trust in SB and now that only a handfull from last nights attendance demonstrated others are being slated.......................
Wed Feb 10, 2010 10:21 am
he did have a chant of his own last night i started "we want wayne nash out" and "wayne nash, your a c**t"
he then went off in a huff

I know felt sick, ridsdale must feel 95 percent of the fans are backing him after last night. There's no way fans would of put up with this in the 80's 90's , Tony clemo had some major shit of us years ago, whilst the riddler appears to be getting away with f*cking our football club good and proper.

Wed Feb 10, 2010 10:45 am
the risca three were there, more organisation needed i think, walked round from the ninian stand against the swarm of people going home.stayed for 15 mins tried to get the chants going, then a old man came passsed and said, who else is there to take over,a couple of us said do you want riddler to keep on telling lies and raping the club,he did not have an answer.shame on the majority of fans who can not be arsed
Wed Feb 10, 2010 10:54 am
I was there until 10.10pm last night.
Why are we only paying 1.2 million now? Where has the season ticket money gone? Where does our money go that we bring in?
Wed Feb 10, 2010 10:58 am
i was there last night and was out side the main entrance with the other fans, i was disappointed aswell with the celebration of the fans on the second goal i didnt even cheer myself because i was gutted the cheer went on for about 5 seconds and stopped, the noise we usually create when scoring a goal is amazing just fucks me off that there was nothing i was one of the people who tried starting songs off last night but again was nothing 17 thousand good crowd but the noise was crap. well done to the ones who was protesting and made an effort

Annis,
Firstly sorry to see what state Messer Ridsdale has turned your Football Club into . Ridsdale in actual fact has wound up the Company WH Sports and would not normally be responsible for the outstanding revenue as a Director of the failed Company if the Company had been operated in a fit and proper way.
His statements of repayment " by Christmas" show intent of repayment, although as of today no repayment has been received by the Revenue. There will be under lying currents to why Ridsdale is under pressure to make repayment. I will leave that with you.
I do hope for your Football Clubs sake you rid him from your Club as soon as possible and all those he no doubt has surrounded himself with who have allowed him to carry out his normal actions and traits.
Be well my friend and good luck in obtaining his removal, it can only be a matter of time now. The worrying factor is where will he turn up next claiming on his CV that he salvaged Cardiff City Football Club.

IT WAS VERY SAD TO SEE AFTER THE GAME YESTURDAY, VERY f*cking EMBARASING.....

I wasn't well enough to attend yesterday's game but even if I had I wouldn't have demonstrated because I do believe Ridsdale has got us into such a state that if he went we would be royally fucked. He's backed us into a corner with his fat rear in front.
I trust Borley's every word and if he says demonstrating is doing more harm than good I believe him. He's in the thick of the action, has a good business head and maintains the respect of the masses so if he pleads 'don't demonstrate' I won't demonstrate.
Saying that, I can understand why those who did demonstrate did. They can't be blamed.
Just because I won't be demonstrating doesn't mean I'm not passionate about the club. I'll still turn up to games, cheer them on and make some noise. Maybe some have lost the passion but I think most are being careful about what they do and how they act because the club is on a knife edge.
It's tender times but whether people demonstrate or not, none of us fans are in the wrong because there isn't a right thing we can do.

Agreed.
Don't turn on us who didn't protest, saying it's because we're not passionate about the club. Have you ever thought that we're not protesting because we don't think it's the right thing to do? Are you really arrogant enough to think that out of 17000 fans last night, only you 50 actually care about the club?
Steve Borley knows way more about this situation than any of you lot and I'm going to listen to him, blindly shouting Ridsdale out with no actual knowledge of the ins and outs is a dangerous thing to do. We've just been given another 28 days, HRMC are not soft, they must be being told
something to give them reason to give us more time (remember they threw Portsmouth's case out), which means that something must be in the pipeline. Why else would they give us more time? what possible other ways have we got to raise money?
We've got to be united in our wanting the best for the club, even if we have different opinions on how best to help. I don't think that coming on here and slagging off 99% of our fanbase, saying we don't care is really the right thing to do.

I was there last night for the protest and was shocked with the attitude on some fans walking past, one guy even stopped and had a little arguement with someone saying that 'we are in a better position now' that before PR came! Its not on we are getting no answers, not even being fed lies at the moment! I stayed until just gone 10pm. I hope we will have a better turn out next time, because last night the 50 or so who actually stayed showed true support and loyalty to the cause but its not enough, as annis said if we keep getting turn outs like this PR wins!! RIDSDALE OUT!!

There is more than one way to skin a cat. Whilst demonstrations (even by 25 to 50 fans) have their place they are not the be all and end all to getting rid of the Chairman.
Ridsdale I believe has a 1 year rolling contract the same as Dave Jones, so even if the demonstrations worked and the board wanted him to leave it is not sure they have the means to pay him off.
That said we shouldn't give up hope and I'm sure Borley and Guy have plans for dealing with him.
Personally I would like to thank those who demonstrated on everyone's behalf last night, rather than slate those who had good reason for not being there.
That is the way ahead rather than turning on each other because if that happens Ridsdale really would have won.
