Inland revenue lost preferential creditor status a few years ago and football in general has been taking the piss since that time. Toaday is the day the Inland Revenue put their foot on the brake and say thats enough. Portsmouth will go into admin and that will be a big warning sent out to all of football that they wont tolerate piss taking anymore. So if we do get off with an adjournment today as seems likely, it will definitly be our very last opportunity to sort things out. If we are lucky they will give us 28 days to the next winding up order.

Same as us apparently, but IR want extra £220,000 but Sothend claiming they overpaid by £200,000.
What a Ironic situation we could have if Pompey went out of business and a 3rd spot would be automatic promotion to Prem

Far more likely that only 2 teams would get relegated from the Premier League. Then the money spinner that is the play offs will not be affected.
