A Suggestion for the Trust to take to the AGM

Wed Feb 10, 2010 12:50 pm

Another 28 days in limbo with all the uncertainty that brings. Transfer embargo firmly in place and the club seemingly unable to pay the tax man in full despite a £3M investment from supporters in January.

It stinks, it stinks to high heaven with chairman still in place after telling bare faced lies to fans and the media. He laughed off the tax bill at the Muni club as being something insignificant now two months later it is clear that we don’t have the money to pay it without asset stripping the football club by selling off land that would have been very attractive to any potential investor.

As already been stated by others why are the likes of Ridsdale still taking out their full salaries from the club when clearly their financial mis-management means that we don’t have the money to pay the tax man or it seems local business?

I know this suggestion is tokenistic but with an EGM looming, I would suggest that every disgruntled city fan should right an official letter of complaint to Cardiff City football club about the Chairman and Financial Director’s total incompetence in running our football club. I know some will think that this is a silly idea as writing a letter won’t change anything but as a business Cardiff City FC should have a policy of responding to every letter of complaint and carrying out a full investigation. Sack loads of mail landing on the doorstep every morning will be a powerful visable show of how disatisfied fans are.

I also think it is now time for the trust to undertake the task of organising a petition against Peter Ridsdale for fans to sign which can be presented to the Board at the EGM.

What an awful state of affairs, the atmosphere last night was awful with fans sick to the pit of their stomachs with all the incompetance going on around the management of the club.
