good grief. reading somewhere else, people STILL believe the state of the pitch is purely down to the egg.
I mean, are people generally that clueless? After all, take a look at the Liberty pitch...
My worry is not buying those lights will cost us more long term to get the damn pitch replaced.

we are the laughing stock of the football league, we have a brand new stadium and the pitch is worse than some park pitches, 'fur coat no knickers'

Yes, yes it is.
If it's down to the fibres in places, then it could potentially be dangerous to play on - all you need is for studs to catch in the fibres underlying it, knee injuries ahoy.

IT IS BAD even my 6 year old commented at tuesdays game how crap the pitch looked! and added "even when you cut our grass it don't look that bad" - yeah me in chagre of a mower is a little lethal!
how many seasons is it supposed to be beofre it is "settled" ?

The jacks pitch took about a year before it settled down.
