Even their own fans don't want to watch them. Well, if you score as few as they do, would you?

A lot of the supporters boycotted the game because of the 'link ticket' scheme the club deployed, where to get in you had to buy a ticket for the peterborough game as well. And the egg did actually clash with the game if you check :D

shit crowd all the same

Why?
Hardly a rush for tickets is there??? obviously..........

There's me thinking Cardiff's away policy was a little unfair to certain sections of support, but f*cking hell, linking home games is a joke!

In fairness that is taking the piss. I think a number of Cardiff fans would have stayed away if Ridsdale try it on us.

It does seem a bit shortsighted of Swansea football club because as the date of the game came closer the scheme was going to backfire. I would have though they would have dropped the scheme and reimbursed the Peterborough money in the hope they would have got their sell out which they would have most likely done so.

They relaxed it on the Thursday, but by then it was too late, most had made other plans and were still seething by what had gone on.

I was chuffed to see so many empty seats.Perhaps now they'll see that they cant take us for granted.

Well BS you can have an adament supporter as a chairman but when it comes to making money all loyalty goes through the window.

If your support was loyal (not to be confused with 'loyalist') then your club wouldn't have to incentivise tickets, we had a pawltry 17,686 at ours against Peterborough, but that was on a Tuesday night with an away following of about 12, and it was sandwiched between the big Newcastle and Chelsea games, both away...

...and we still managed to get a higher attendance than all but three of your entire home fixtures, barring your cup final against us, just over a hundred more for Derby County, and a thousand odd more for Crystal Palace.

Pretty poor support mate.

To be fair it was out of character by the club as they're usually pretty fair with the fans but as yesterdays attendance showed we wont stand for it.

That game would have sold out usually, regardless of the egg
