Watching Cardiff, mine was in the early 80's loosing at home to Luton Town on a Tuesday Night at home 2-3, about 10,000 there and Luton had nothing to play for, if we won we stayed up. I stood on the Bob Bank after the game in disbelief.
Last ever home league v Ipswich, bad enough being last ever game at Ninian Park 2009, But to loose 0-3 and then come out wearing all white kits on the Orders of PR, to clap the fans that made me sick.

worst feeling ive ever had at a city game was losing to Stoke in the playoff's at Ninina Park, walking out of the ground after that game was the biggest low i've experienced.

The Luton game was only my 2nd game at NP. I was gutted. My first relegation.
Ipswich last season was uter crap and an embarrassment.
Aldershots last ever game was a sad one too. I was gutted for the 150 or so shots fans.

I agree. I think the annoying bit was that if we'd been in the same situation the season before we'd have progressed on away goals but because it was a new format it went to extra time and we lost.
I also remember the Northampton playoff defeat. That was my first memory of glory being snatched away from our grasp. I've hated Northampton ever since!

When Ross Mcormack missed the penalty against Ispwich, then it made me think were gonna f*ck it up! how right I was.

also add in the send off for Ninian Park , absolute disgarce for the ground.

Stoke in the play offs......
or after beating Manchester City we all expected Newcastle in the next round and we got Luton.....and bloody hartson scored against us...multiple sadness going on there.

Same here for the Ipswich game, saddened and shellshocked.
Also watching our players collect their losers medals at Wembley.
Saddest ever was Bodin hitting the bar with THAT pen v Romania. Sick

Previously it was the play-off against Stoke. That has been completely usurped by us the fans watching the club brought to its knees whilst all we do is watch and talk yet do nothing.

I was bad after Stoke, i was gutted for weeks.
Ipswich was more anger than anything, at the team and at the people who organised the closing "celebrations".

last game at ninian park, the send off that ninian was given by the powers that be was an absolute disgrace, a sad end for a great stadium.

Actually, can I change mine to being the day Eddie Johnson scored because it made me realise it could have been me seeing as I firmly believe I have as much footballing ability as that man!
Only joking!
In all truth, I think if Eddie had been used correctly as a target man (awesome in the air) and we had him on loan this season for a fraction of the wages he could be helping us to promotion now!

There have been many lows to many to mention really. But was never as gutted as when i came out of wembley losing to pompey. cryed like a baby
Mon Feb 15, 2010 2:29 pm
The send off at ninian, what a joke !

The day Ridsdale walked through the gates of Ninian park was my saddest moment.
The thought that after what he had done at Leeds and Barnsley he was now coming to do to us.
Conversely , the day he walks out for the last time will undoubtedly be one of the best moments.
Here's hoping that day is sooner rather than later.

Quite honestly we've seen so many relegations that for me the pain is never that great it more of a dull ache that lasts from the time you realise the inevitable to the time the inevitable happens, while on the other hand real pain is experienced when you fail at the last hurdle so for me there are three games that always spring to mind Stoke would be my third choice followed by Watford in 71 i thinkit was and finally Hamburg when we seemed to have done the hard part with a fantastic draw in Germany and then for Norman Dean to score early in the home leg to put us in front only to see us lose it late on ........oh feck it it's still hurts forty years on.

Without a shadow of a doubt it's our last game at Ninian, I was fighting back the tears big time.
Nothing will ever replace Ninian for me, in just my three years of going there I have so many good memories and would have given anything to have had it developed and stayed there.

Hillsborough last season.
Just unbelievable.
How the f**k did DJ bring Burke off for Quincy when EVERYBODY could see that Whitts was about as effective as a colostomy bag that day?!?!
Mon Feb 15, 2010 5:09 pm
Relegation in 74-75.We had Bolton at home on the last day of the season & needed to win 6-0 & other results needed to go our way. We did'nt even try & lost 2-0.Felt shit for weeks.

Hartson never scored against us for Luton !
I dont think I have ever felt so down as the Stoke play off game !
Losing 4-0 at home to Cambridge was a downer. it was then I think we realised that we were agan on our way to the basement !
