Well played the nine men

Tue Feb 16, 2010 11:07 pm

Rae and Kennedy might as well have been at home tonight - they contributed the square root of f**k all between them.

Rae was even more shocking tham usual. He may have some excuse with his injury but honestly he was absolutely dire tonight.

Kennedy is way past it. He can't run, can't tackle, can't head the ball, has no pace, no positional sense and the only pass he can make is that f*cking diagonal chip straight to Jay (or into touch).

Quinn cannot be any worse and I'd prefer Matthews and Super Kev as full backs.

Think it was very difficult in the centre today against their three in the middle.

Think chops and bothers sudd done more to close down the holding midfielder. Rae worked his arse off for the first 60mins and sudd been taken off but then again wildig and Blake wudda been to
inexperienced.

you must watch a different game to me.kennedy adds experiance at the back.
we played a slick passing side who scored scored once off a rebound.
when matthews was playing we were being caught out down that flank/
Gavin is struggling but still put in a shift in.
this is CCFC with no F..ING money not real Madrid

Perhaps I do not understand football or just insane(or both) but I thought Kennedy played well. I agree he plays a limited game but was solid. A lot of balls in the 1st half were played between him and our c/fs but he was already marking their winger plus their 22 on overlap. Do not see what he could really have done. Our midfield/forwards should be cutting most of these passes out.

Rae struggled with their 3 mand midfield in the first half but was better with Blake next to him. Wish he would not shoot though!!!

Not a big fan of Rae, but i find it hard to have a go at any of the players recentley. They are all being asked to play with injuries, out of position and some of them obviously need a rest , but we cant give them one.As a fan all i ask is 100% committment and these players are giving at the moment and i feel proud to support them, especially the young one like wildig, mathews and blake. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

kennedy's positional play is woeful at best, every time he gets done by a long diaganol ball in behind il put a pound towards our tax bill....it should be as good as paid by march

and by the way im not one for slagging our own players off, but kennedy had me ticking tonight, surely quinn/matthews can do a better job???
