I was pleasantly surprised and thought it was a definite improvement from recent games.

Yes, was quite good.
Everytime they started singing, we just drowned them out.

Best "home" game atmosphere in a long long long time - still needs MORE!
New songs or variation is something - i love singing but I get bored of singing the same thing week in week out same old
What i loved about last nights game is Baggies sang - but we came back louder - lets hope this is the start of something good for our home games!

A lot better, but was that because WBA had nearly 2,000 Fans, which made us sing more ?

To be fair, the Canton Stand atmosphere hasn't been too bad this season. If the away fans were down by us again it would really be rockin' but that's not going to happen. It was a decent match and a decent noise. I thought for 2,000 the West Brom fans were quite quiet albeit louder than most.

the first 10 mins was great, but then it went a bit quite, outsung by west brom for most of the game our singing was a bit sporadic

I took my daughter last night and sat near the away fans in the kids stand. Honest opinion from where i was is that you couldnt hear Cardiff sing at all. Even the Baggies fans was singing Shhhhhhhhhhh and we still didnt hear us. Credit to the Baggies fans for singing even tho they was sitting down ! And from near the away end you cant hear a peep from the Canton Singing Stand. Maybe thats how ground was designed and atmosphere doesnt carry
