There's an article today saying he's still undergoing treatment on his ankle and will hopefully be fit again in a few weeks.

It also said that the reason he isn't playing has nothing to do with the embargo ( don't think it affects existing ones ) and that we're still paying him.

Hopefully we can see him back soon, seemed a pretty decent player in the limited change he got!
