I have asked other Football Fans on My Face Book to come on here and Discuss The Riddler with us.
Everyone can Say one Good or Bad thing he has done for Cardiff City/Leeds/Barnsley
In My Opinion he Stabbed Sam Hammam in the Back, after Sam had given him a Job when No one else in Football would and if you can do that I/We shouldnt of Trusted him from the Start.

He lied to the fans of our club to get their money .

He's lined his pockets while fleecing the fans. Oh and he fucked up any chance of investment with the Malaysians because he didn't inform them that we were subject of a winding up order by the HMRC, in fact he didn't even inform them of any tax issues at all (and I got that in Black and white from the Malaysians themselves). When pushed at the Muni meeting as to why he didn't inform them, his reply eventually was - they didn't ask
what a complete and utter greedy f*cking wanker!!! Not responsible enough to pay his own tax i,e WH Sports so why the f**k did we ever think he would be responsible enough to pay the clubs tax? He tucked us up and had us hook line and f*cking sinker. An out and out f*cking crook of the highest order!!!
Message to the Board and major shareholders, get rid of him pronto!!!

Struggling to find any good to say about Riddler but I suppose some of his influence in the transfer market has been positive. It is widely thought his previous links with McPhail & Chopra meant they came here, plus his agent contacts secured Burke, McCormack, Whittingham and a number of loans like Routelege.
The bad is the dishonesty of the man. He has spent a good part of his business life in retail marketing and I think he has lost the understanding of the fine line between sales speel and out right lying in order to close a deal.
The Golden Ticket Scheme was absolutely appauling and completely down to his personal desperation (outstandng tax bill) and his inability to trust the customer (i.e. the fan).

Surely the Malaysian's did ask about the tax issue indirectly when they requested the books for due diligence?
Therefore his reply that night at the Muni Club was also a load of bollocks and even if they did I doubt it would have got them anywhere; after all there have been demonstrations outside the stadium asking him "where's the season ticket money gone?" without any transparent reply.

I never understood why Sam brought him in. The reasons given are a bit hard to understand considering Riddlers history. If I remember right his appearance came at the time we were top of the league but were soon to drop. Alot said this drop was down to Riddler but I felt that was people lookig for an excuse so I decided to give him the chance.
As we all know we have our new stadium which is what we needed to go further. Riddler got the credit for his plus a nice bonus. The birth of the stadium followed on from our Cup final appearance and our most successful finish in the league since I started watching Cardiff in 1971, althought this finish was in the end disappointing as more was expected. So all this resulted in making Riddler look like he was on his way to repairing his reputation. Six months later how things are different.
When I first entered the new stadium, first game of season against Scunthorpe, everyone around me were quite excited. My thoughts were yes this is nice but lets wait and see. I had my reservations but put those to the side as we had a good start to the season. We had some great performances, Birstol City, but some dreadful ones, QPR and Sheff Wed being the worse. My alarm bells started to ring again.
It came very clear ot me we cant compete agains the likes of WBA and Newcastle resources but we should be able to handle the likes of what the Jacks had. Well that became clear we could not handle the Jacks or other teams similar to them although we had the talent. It became obvious we needed new players in.
The new incentive to get players in I liked. Buy your season ticket (ST) before the New Year, get the price freeze and if we get there you get your money back. The gifts were nice but did not matter to me as I wanted to see new players come in. I brought an ST but at the time I have to confess I had my doubts if we would see any new players. Sadly my doubts came to fruitition if thats the right word to use.
Although rather annoyed but not totally surprised about this I have calmed down and though alot about the Riddler. His old reputation is now back on track. You can say sorry once, Leeds, and you might get away with saying sorry twice, Barnsley, but you have to be honest with yourself when you have to say it again. Unfortunately for us its at our club he has said it. I say its time for him to go.
Some say he has done well and I can see their side. Some say he is a liability and I fear their arguments. Perhaps his decision to use our money to pay the tax man was the right one but to apologise thrice is equivalent to a cat using up its 9 lives. I hope now the Riddler is preparing his exit come that being a takeover or the dreaded administration. I hope he goes because his presence around the club is a disturbing one.
