Leighton James talking sense

I listened to Real radio the other night, probably for the first time, and was impressed with Leighton james knowledge of the game thought he spoke really well without any bias about swansea and The City. Also he showed he had good knowledge of all Welsh sport. The only thing that spoilt the programme was some numpty ringing up, think it was Carl from Swansea which reduced the talk to an argument, instead of the educated and very interesting conversation it had been before he came on.

What us & we !!! meaning im a Jack!!! If your a City fan how can you have a educated and interesting conversation with that tw*t ??? Before Carl came on it was all Jacks that were talking yes he can have an interesting conversation with them. Then the beer kicks in when he knows your a city fan

My problem is he is so Anti Cardiff that I havent bothered to listen to him now for over 2 years, to me if your a Radio/TV pundit you have to try and not be Biased but I actually found listening to him that he was more than Biased and actually wanted you to know he Hated Cardiff, but like I said that was over 2yrs ago.

Yes of course I do!!! But I don't get paid as a pundit that covers the whole of South Wales supposedly giving a unbiased view . Think Barnsley comes to mind when he said he hopped Barnsley beat is in the semis. How can u have an interesting conversation with that piss head?? Unless your a Jack

Yes I know you are supposed to be unbiased as a pundit, i think City fans wind him up just a bit But for me he is passionate about his club as we are about ours ,cant honestly say i think any city fan would want the Jacks to win a FA Cup semi final either, can you imagine Jason Perry or Scott Young on the radio saying that

When you're paid as a pundit, you're meant to keep your own counsel as far as bias towards your own team is concerned. He reduces himself to the level of a fan on the terraces, which is all very well and good in a pub atmosphere, and I would respect that as it is something all of us on here would do. But not when you're being paid to be an unbiased pundit who can see the equal merits of all Welsh sports teams

To say the least, to be honest i think real radio is a bit biased anyway. LJ comes on as a fan, at first he tries to be a bit impartial and the fucks it up as soon as someone says something he dont agree with.

No not really , just listened to the debate the other night.. very entertaining

hes a c**t, i had a barny with him before the barnsley play off at wembley, over his comments hoping wed lose, jus made the point hes a welsh pundit etc, it wud benefit welsh football if either cardiff or swansea were in prem, and he got nasty and sarcastic, and defensive and hung up. WANKER!
