Has to be Witts with all his goals this season.
But also Burke's been superb and Jay's been so influencial for us.

I have never bought into the Stephen McPhail is brilliant theory.

However, I will buy into the Peter Whittingham is brilliant idea. I sit right at the front of the Ninian Stand and PW is generally right in front of me during the first half.

From that advantage point you can see the work he gets through and he is our play-maker with some of his passing being international class, indeed I have emailed the FA asking them to send Fabio down to CCS as PW could be the long awaited answer to England's left-flank problem.

But despite all that praise I would vote for Anthony Gerrard. Quietly and efficiently he has settled into the back four after a difficult start and offers a steady presence which is reassuring and he is also chipping in with goals.

He is the next Roger Johnson mark my words.

Marshall done well for me, bothroyd good shout too. McPhail has been our best player when fit. But Burkey most improved for me and Whitts for Player of Year!

I would say Whittingham. As has been said he's scored so many vital goals and created so many others. Even when he's vacant he still puts his two cents in with a goal, assist or bit of creative ingenuity.

I love Burke and there's still time for Burke to win it but Whittingham's been more vital. It's a pleasure that it's hard to pick.

If Kevin McNaughton had not been injured he would be my choice. Absolute legend.

I conducted a pole a few months ago and Burke won by a country mile with Whitts second. Since then i feel Burke has gone off the boil a bit he is not skipping past players the same way as he did earlier this season. I voted for Burke last time but now i say Whitts defo.
