Agree with annis. One other thing that i don't like about Jones is his distancing himself from the fans, he never goes overboard for his praise for the support we give the team.It probably does'nt mean a lot to him but i think it would go a long way with the fans.

That's the point of a one year rolling contract!! There is always one year outstanding. It can never be a qustion of paying up a remainder of the year.

Also have to agree with Annis, Jones cant have it both ways, he's got a small squad, yes, but still a top 10 wage bill, so he cant moan about having a small squad as he knew his budget and chose to go with a small number of big earners.

At the end of the day, his comments arent of much interest to me. If he gets us in the top 6 I'll love him

Havingsaid that the questions I have to ask is who is a better Manager than Jones; would be willing to come here in our present circumstances; would be able to provide a greater degree of success on the field with our existing resources and finally would do all this at a much lower salary?

I thought DJ showed clever restraint in what he feels about PR, he is a miserable tw*t tho but thats part of his charector. In all honesty I think we would be completely fucked without him at the moment. Its the first time Im saying this but I think under the circumstances he is doing a fantastic job.

With DJ owning shares in Cardiff City there was always going to be a conflict.

In normal companies employees are enticed into buying shares but with DJ it causes a problem and faced with losing his cash or weakening his squad he went for the cash.

I'll hold judgement on Jones until the last kick of a ball for the season.At present he's only been a nearly man & we've faded every season under him.I know some will say he's done well with the bare thin squad we've got, but turn it on it's head we have'nt done that well with the wages they are being paid.

jones was in the papers one minute bragging that the season ticket money for players was his idea then when it all went shit he was saying his job is to manage the team and he leaves the running of the club to the chairman

i think the teams done well this year, how much of that is to do with DJ is anyones guess. But if I think back to last seasons final whistle i wanted him sacked there and then.
